Woodwork for Inventor Essentials - Training
Duration: 2 days.
Designed for: Designers who wish to use the Woodwork for Inventor.
Prerequisites: Candidates have attended a Graitec ‘Autodesk Inventor Essentials’ course orhave equivalent experience.
Course Description: This course if for experienced Inventor users who wish to make use of the ‘Woodwork for Inventor’ (W4I) plugin to design bespoke furniture and joinery products with Inventor. The course emphasises a quick start into W4I to help candidates get the best out of the software as quickly as possible.
After this training, participants will be able to:
- Skelton Modelling with the Panel dress up toolset
- Assemble generation from a Skelton model
- Material assignment including trimming allowances and grain direction
- Hardware placement and machining feature generation
- iBox Library component placement
- BOM Extraction (Parts list, cutting tickets, procurement list, Materials list etc.)
- Creating component drawings with Autoplot
- Basing a new design on an existing design with Assembly copier
