  • The designated Account Manager or Contract Manager or License Manager in GRAITEC Advantage has the right to assign licenses to users.

  • The GRAITEC Advantage portal has different administration roles to manage licenses:

    1. Account Manager: Main administrator with full access to all features and visibility on all contracts and users.
    2. Contract Manager: Manages their contract and subscription entitlements, creates users, and assigns licenses to users.
    3. License Manager: Handles license assignments
    4. User: Access to software downloads, support ticketing, and product-specific information.
  • In the Named User Licensing Model, your username is your email address, and the password is the one used to create the GRAITEC Advantage portal account.

  • Simply enter your GRAITEC Advantage credentials (username and password) to activate and use GRAITEC Software Applications.

  • Once your administrator assigns a license to a user, the user will receive an email to connect to their GRAITEC Advantage account or create a new account. Follow these steps:

    1. Check your mailbox: Look for an email from GRAITEC with instructions to connect to GRAITEC Advantage.
    2. Log In: Use the link provided to create a GRAITEC Advantage portal account or to log in to your existing account with your credentials.
    3. Download Software: Download the assigned GRAITEC software from the portal.
    4. Run the Product: Install and launch the software on your computer
    5. Sign In: Sign in within the software using your GRAITEC Advantage credentials
  • An internet connection is always required to activate, and for the moment use, Named User Licenses. From the release of version 2025.1 license manager, “off-line” usage for a maximum period of 30 days will be possible after initial activation.

  • There is no restriction on the number of devices GRAITEC Software Applications can be installed on. However, Named User License permits the same user to be signed in to three devices concurrently but only actively use one device at any given moment.

    Additionally, it’s important to clarify that you can run different applications, each with their respective licenses, simultaneously on up to three computers. This flexibility allows you to maximize your usage of the software across multiple projects or tasks, while still adhering to the terms of your Named User License agreement.

  • Yes, but it is necessary to first install the GRAITEC Licensing Update Patch 2025 from GRAITEC Advantage available for GRAITEC Software Application Versions V.2021 to V.2024.

  • Yes, you can use standalone and network licenses alongside Named User Licenses on the same computer.

  • Only the Account Manager, Contract Manager or License Manager of your account can reassign the license to another user. This can be done within the GRAITEC Advantage Portal.

  • You can reassign a Named User license to another user twice per month. This allows for flexibility in managing user access to the software.

  • If you attempt to activate the license on more devices than permitted, you will encounter an error message prompting you to deactivate the license on one of the other devices before proceeding.

  • Yes, Named User Licenses include access to all software updates and upgrades throughout the active subscription or maintenance period.

  • You can login to your GRAITEC Advantage portal and open a support ticket.

  • If you are unable to access the Named User License, first verify that you are connected to the internet and using the correct GRAITEC Advantage credentials (username = your email address and associated password).
