On Tuesday the 17th of January we ran our Graitec UK Advance Steel User group. The event took place at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham. We were joined by 55 customers from 36 different companies. A huge thanks to all those who made the journey from all corners of the UK, we even had customers travel from Ireland and Poland to be part of the day.

The main focus of the User Day is to increase everyone’s knowledge of Advance Steel, Graitec PowerPack for Advance Steel and Autodesk workflows with other software. The classes that were shown during the event were.

  •  PowerPack what’s new.
  • Cloud-Based Collaboration for Structural Steel from Autodesk.
  • Advance Steel getting the most from your Drawings.
  • PowerPack workflows & open discussion.
  • Advance Steel Tips & Tricks.

Many thanks to all our speakers for joining us and spending the time to put together some very informative presentations. As special thanks to our guests Philippe Bonneau from Autodesk, Adriana Gherlan and John Bennett from Graitec Innovation for accepting our invitation and being part of the day.

As we have done for the last 2 User Days we also ran our model competition, all the information about the competition can be found here on Alecks blog.

Once again, many thanks to everyone who attended and made the day a success. We are already looking forward to next years event!
