The Graitec PowerPack 2024 for Advance Steel has now been released, the PowerPack is Graitec’s extension to Advance Steel which gives users additional modelling tools, connections, templates, sections and data, this blog will run through what’s new in the 2024 release.

The 2024 PowerPack will run on Advance Steel 2024 and 2023. With the recent addition of the PowerPack migration tool any of your library entries, special parts etc. can now be brought into this new release.  Do you want to see this new PowerPack in action, please join us on our What’s new webinar event on June 14th, you can register here.

Easy batch plot– Control the name of your plotted PDF files, no more renaming after the plot has finished. This new tool will also plot in the background as it uses the standard AutoCAD batch plot functionality, allowing you to continue working.

Concrete stair macro – You can now create single or multi flight concrete stairs with this new addition to the stairs and railings vault.

Tower Designer, Transmission Towers – Similar to the structure designer this new macro enablers users to create and control the structure of a transmission tower from 1 dialogue box.

Kickrail improvements – The split mechanism which is available for Top and Middle rails has now been added to the Kickrail part of the macro. Users now also have the ability to control what happens in the corners for kick rails. Its also possible within the macro to disable the kickrail on the sloping part of the railing.

Railing hole types – You now have full control over the type of hole, tolerances etc. for the base plates created using the railing macro

Steadman’s data update – The Mezzanine floor beam inset cleats have been updated as per Steadman’s redesign.

Online help – We have moved to an online help portal for the PowerPack, this can be accessed here.
